The Christmas Day Gospel tells us: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God… [and]… the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:1,14 ESV) Today as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, the Word, our Lord and Savior, we invite you to delve deeper into His/God’s Word, the Bible. To help, we have Bibles available as you leave worship today. Please take one. Examples of the various translations are on the back of this note.

We also have a the book The Basics: GOD You Jesus Faith for you. It discusses: Who is God? What is he like? What does he think of you? What exactly was Jesus all about? How do you get “saved”? And what does “getting
saved” mean anyway? What can you do if you want to know the answers to these questions? This book is designed to help you understand who our big, amazing God is.

The Basics is also available for free as a pdf download, to listen to (Apple Podcast, Spotify) or to watch as a video.
